A Night at the Embassy

On Wednesday evening, the US Embassy in Lome hosted a music group from a missionary Baptist church in Atlanta, GA. They are sponsored by the US government to represent American culture and music around the world. This gospel group is currently on a five country African tour.

Not only was it a nice evening out with hors d'oeuvres while being surrounded by dignitaries, but the musical group was given full liberty to say anything they wanted. By the end of the evening, it was very evident that they had a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. In a day where many believe America has become an amoral society, the US embassy in Togo hosted a group that emphasized our Christian values. It was both refreshing and a great representation of what has made America great.

Melissa and I love the country that God has allowed us to live and minister, but will always appreciate being American.

I need to speak with you, please. I cannot reach you via email and the phone number on this website is not good anymore (?). I am not sure how else to get a hold of you.
