Ge/Mina, Frank, and Victoria

I had my first Mina lesson this morning with my language professor. We are meeting twice a week for two hours each time. I now have a ton of homework to work on. (7-9 am)

Frank texted me to tell me he had a question for me. We had originally met at the basketball tournament that was held this summer in Aneho. He moved to Togo from Nigeria so that he can learn French. Right now he only speaks English and Ewe.

Today, as I drove up to the basketball court, Frank was waiting for me under the tree just as we had arranged. He asked me one question. "The Bible states in the ten commandments not to serve any idols, but my church tells me to worship the idols in the church, what do I do?"

We set on the bricks and talked about God's love, grace, and perfect gift of salvation.  About an hour later Frank bowed is head and trusted Christ as Savior. We are meeting on Friday morning to study together. I am truly excited as he will be attending a private university in Lome to learn French. I pray he will let his light shine. (11:30-12:30 pm)

We are headed to Togoville in an hour to go visit Victoria. She is the 14 year old orphan girl that trusted Christ this summer. She asked us to go meet her 85 year old grandmother. Will keep you posted on how it goes. (3:30-6:30 pm)
