For the last two years, we have had 40-50 people that have come on mission trips and internships each year. It is amazing to watch how God works in and through their lives. Some are able to directly lead people to Christ, while others go back to the US before they hear updates of fruit being harvested. That was the case again this year. It appears as though God speaks to each person very clearly while they are here. No matter the stage of life or place of surrender to God, God moves them during their stay in Togo. Many of the people find a place where they like to go and pray. For many, it is the trampoline on the roof. The decision of total surrender can be a very difficult one. You can tell that they are at peace as they walk down the steps during such a particular quiet time. Signing over a blank check to God is not easy, but there is so much joy and peace that comes with the decision. God has been at work here this summer... and not just in the hearts of the Togolese. We are so grateful to be here in Togo; and as a ministry, we continue to pray for all the visitors that work along side us.

Summer Internships and Groups
The summer is starting to wind down here in Aneho. We have one more camp and a soccer tournament ahead of us. Melissa and I have been under the weather for a little while. We both have had typhoid and malaria in the last 2 months. It sure is nice to be back to normal. The malaria is somewhat common, but the typhoid was because I were not careful enough with what I ate off the side of the road... lesson learned!
