Christmas Preparations

As we have entered into what most consider the "Christmas season", I have tried to get myself into the holiday spirit. I had a teacher many years ago that encouraged me to learn something new about the Christmas story every year. This year I am focusing on the wise men. It is quite interesting to me that they were already looking up in the sky when they saw the bright light. It is as if they were searching for something, whether it be simple knowledge or for the possibility that there was something more. I do still have 18 more days to continue to contemplate this angle of Christ's birth.

The amazing thing about Christmas is that we are celebrating Christ's birth. The sad reality is that there are millions in the world who still do not know He came. We will pass around gifts in two weeks as we remember His gift to us. Unfortunately, millions do not have a reason to celebrate or give gifts. Well you help us give people a reason to celebrate? Let us tell this generation that He came and gave the greatest gift of all.
