60 Days Till Togo

As Melissa and I have been planning and looking at the calendar, we are anticipating to leave for Togo on March 20th. It is only 60 days away and we are so excited. We have watched God provide in so many incredible ways over the years. We are embarking on the next stage of this journey. It seems like there is always a hurdle to overcome, and this one is the hurdle of finances to relocate. We have a few priorities in order to move to Togo. 

We are looking for plane tickets and will purchase them as soon as the finances are provided. Our plan is to ship the container the first week of March. This means all the appliances and supplies must be purchased in order to send the container. Lastly, the 4x4 is a must in order to reach these villages in Togo. The rainy season washes out many of the roads. We are confident that God will provide.

As we celebrate the current victories, we must also stay focused on the road ahead. I am not sure of the origin of this quote which states, "Enjoy the journey, because the goal is only a mirage." This quote keeps me focused on this amazing earthly journey as a Christ Follower.
