Leadership Camp Training

The last few days have been spent in Aneho trying to plan for the fall and Christmas time. We are working towards a leadership camp from December 26 through December 31st. It will be an invitation only camp focused on our cream of the crop young people from various churches. We really want to poor into the up and coming leaders.

Melissa has spent the last two days helping a boy named Joshua. He is a pastor's son that is 14 years old and can't read. He lives in a small city where education is not extremely advanced. He has simply fallen through the cracks in the education system. She has been teaching him the alphabet. I wish you could see the look on his face as he is learning and realized he is not destined to fail. They will work together for the next three days or so before he heads back home. Hopefully his father will be picking him up so he can learn how to better help Joshua.

The Bible study went well last night on our front gazeebo. There were about 8 guys there. This is the teaching and discipling that will become the church in Aneho.

Well, it is almost three pm and the stores should be open for business. (They close from 12-3 every day). Still waiting patiently for internet.
