March 4- Elections in Togo

Today has been national election day in Togo. It has been a very quiet as everyone ordered to stay at home if possible. Vehicles were not allowed on the road and the borders have been closed for 36 hours. Our prayers are for the country to have peace for the people. All the young people I have spoken with share the same sentiment.

On Saturday morning Melissa and I will be headed over to Accra, Ghana to pick up a pastor and missions team. They will be here for a week. We plan to spend Saturday night and Sunday till the afternoon in Kpadape. We will be playing soccer on Saturday afternoon. Sunday morning Jamie will be teaching and then I have 6 to baptize. We will drive back the 3 hours on Sunday afternoon to make it in time for church in Aneho. Jamie will also teach in Aneho.

My daughter Lauren Hall is with Jamie on her first mission trip. I know she is excited and looking forward to getting involved.
