Day 4

Friday started with a normal cold well-water bucket shower. I must say I have done my best to get used to the temperature, but I am still not there. After free time and game time, I went into Kpalime (the city) to charge my cell phone. There is a blind center run by some missionaries that were kind enough to help me stay connected to the modern world.

I made it back in time to each some black eyed peas about the time camp started back up. This afternoon was a great time for follow up. The campers really seemed to let down their guard. Game time introduced the big ball for the first time to the village of Kpadape. It made for a lot of laughs.

We ended the camp day with 17 people trusting Christ. Each one of the staff members were able to lead at least one person to Christ. Dinner was a first for me. We had baobab leaf sauce with our corn “mush”. It has actually been placed on the favorites list immediately after fufu. I would have taken a picture, but we ate by lantern light. Another great day in Kpadape
