Tuesday, we drove up to Kpadape and arrived about 4 pm. With 2 hours left of daylight, we started passing out flying for the next day. In village life, planning ahead would not make any difference whatsoever. People take life a day at a time, especially during the summer, which is planting season. Most of us jumped into a soccer game and the rest passed out flyers and signed campers up. After dinner at Koffi's house, we headed to the house. It is a person’s retirement home and one of the best the village had to offer. There is not any electricity or running water in the village, so we used candles and the well. I had my own room with a concrete floor and screens, but unfortunately the sand gnats could get through the screen. Gnats 1/ JJ -0
